Sasha Association for Craft Producers (SACP), also known as Sasha is a pioneering not-for-profit Fair Trade social enterprise.
Set up as Sarba Shanti Ayog in 1978, Sasha Association for Craft Producers was registered in 1987, and has been engaging with the textile and craft sectors in India by providing market access, design and technical support, social and economic empowerment through its multi-dimensional activities.
At present, Sasha is engaged with 5000 artisans, over 100 craft enterprises and 16 craft lines across the country.
Sasha is a Guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization (wfto.
com).
Sasha is one of the founding members of Fair Trade Forum-India and WFTO Asia.
Sasha’s flagship store in Kolkata is a destination store for discerning customers who care for creativity, culture, and authenticity and respect the “handmade”.
Sasha and the Producer partners work together to translate market trends into designs suitable for a variety of clientele, to enable producers access both international and high-end domestic markets.
