Premalaya Handicrafts Trust was founded in 2001 with the primary goal of improving the handicraft abilities and means of subsistence for rural women.
The Premalaya Handicrafts Trust has a number of craft production facilities. Products made by hand embroidery, nylon wire bags, tailoring, cotton soft toys, hand weaving, and handmade peepul leaf greeting cards are also available.
There are 160 employees at this Handicrafts sectors. Products made here are exported both domestically and internationally. In Tiruvannamalai, there is a sizable showroom where a variety of handicrafts are offered for sale. Additionally shipped to the USA, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Spain, and Italy
The traditional handicrafts made here aim to improve rural women's livelihoods, highlight the value of handicrafts, and safeguard the artisans.
