Aagor Daagra Afad is a woman weavers’ organization set up by the Action North East Trust (ANT) in Assam in 2002. Aagor uses the rich weaving tradition of the tribal communities to make handwoven, contemporary products like garments or upholstery. Aagor is a part of the women empowerment projects of the trust, working with women weavers from the Bodo Tribe in the Chirang district of Assam.

The trust also works on larger issues of health, livelihoods, conflict and peace, education and sensitizing people to press for their entitlements from the government and alternate income opportunities through weaving, agriculture and off farm activities.

Kallista exports precious & semi-precious jewelry & other handicrafts, acting as a bridge between the underprivileged/marginalized artisans and the international/affluent markets, at the same time, working for social, economic and environmental well-being of the artisan communities.
