JKSMS (Jan Kala Sahitya Manch Sanstha) is an awarded social organization working in rural and urban areas of Rajasthan State in India since 1983 for social development – rehabilitation – protection and empowerment of children, women and deprive class of society with sustainable livelihood opportunities including artisans of different trades.
The organization was founded by a group of social activist they were devoted and committed to promote social change and justice. JKSMS become a legal association with its registration under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958 on November 9, 1983. It is also been registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulating) Act, 1976 in the year 1998. Their core concern is the oppressed; we give special preference to children, women and deprived communities surviving without their basic rights and facilities. Their mission is to provide development opportunities to every child, women and weaker sections of the society to establish a social system based on social justice and equality. Their operational areas include: Urban slums, Centers of pavement dwellers, Rural areas, Surroundings of Railway Stations, Red light areas and Tribal Areas.
